Job summary

Luster National, Inc. seeks a CEI Inspector II to provide construction engineering inspection services for transportation projects in Georgia.

The role involves road and structure inspections, material sampling, and documentation, supporting higher level inspectors and engineers, on-site in Northwest Georgia. The position requires 3+ years of highway inspection experience, proficiency with plans and calculations, and a valid vehicle license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or equivalent.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials, methods, and equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain construction plans, provisions, specifications, and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadways and structures to ensure contract conformance.
• Assist with project engineering duties on smaller projects.
• Document field measurements and prepare reports for contract compliance.
• Support field plan reviews and CPM schedule reviews.
