Volkert, Inc. is searching for Junior and Senior level CAD Technicians to join their Southwest Region, focusing on geometric design projects across various Texas locations including McKinney.

The candidates will assist engineers using OpenRoads Designer, prepare plans, and perform quality control reviews. Ideal applicants should have relevant experience in roadway drafting, a degree in drafting, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• 3-15 years of prior experience with roadway drafting.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in creating roadway plan sets using OpenRoads Designer.
• Prepare minor calculations for roadway and bridge projects.
• Perform quality control reviews of design plans.
