Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway CAD Technician in the United States (Texas). You will draft and refine roadway, drainage, and utility plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, coordinating with engineers and project teams throughout the design process.

Ideal candidates have transport engineering exposure, CAD proficiency, and strong collaboration skills to deliver compliant design packages for municipal and transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Technical CAD/drafting training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in transportation projects preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD platforms and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Review roadway, drainage, traffic control and utility plans to produce design drawings.
• Prepare and revise roadway plan sets and profiles.
• Generate plan sets coordinating with engineers and project teams.
• Maintain engineering documentation and exhibits for permits.
• Create alignments, surfaces, corridors, and grading models in Civil 3D.
• Perform quality control of plan sets for standards compliance.
• Coordinate with survey/utility teams to resolve conflicts.
• Support construction plans and pavement marking layouts.
