Consor in Austin, TX is seeking a Roadway CAD Technician to provide drafting support for municipal and transportation projects. You will work with project managers, engineers, and design teams to convert concepts into precise design drawings and deliverables across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Relevant training in CAD, drafting, or design technology.
• Experience in transportation engineering, preferably TxDOT.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with plan production and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Review roadway, drainage, traffic control, and utility plans to develop accurate design drawings and documents.
• Prepare and revise roadway design plans, profiles, cross-sections, and corridors using CAD.
• Produce plan sets in coordination with engineers and teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain engineering documentation including quantity calculations and technical reports.
• Create and modify alignments, surfaces, corridors using Civil 3D.
• Perform quality control reviews of plan sets for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with survey, drainage, utility, and transportation teams to resolve conflicts.
• Prepare construction plans and layout for signing and pavement markings.
