Job summary

AAA is seeking a Tow Instructor to deliver Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) training for Independent Contract Station providers and their staff. You will lead classroom, virtual, and field sessions covering towing, battery services, dispatch, and safety standards to ensure exceptional member experiences.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of training or instructional experience within automotive or related fields, with strong communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of training, coaching, or instructional experience in automotive service or related industry preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence others, and deliver engaging training experiences.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and field-based training for IC personnel on ERS policies and service standards.
• Deliver hands-on instruction covering towing operations, battery services, lockout techniques, dispatch systems, and roadside practices.
• Conduct workshops and coaching sessions to support employee development and operational excellence.
• Travel overnight on a scheduled basis to support training across territories.
• Provide technical guidance in review and resolution of member complaint cases.
• Partner with ERS leadership to identify training needs and coaching opportunities.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
• Maintain training records and prepare daily activity logs and monthly reports.
