Job summary

American Automobile Association Mountain West Group (MWG) is seeking tow operators in Reno, NV. You will operate tow trucks safely, perform basic diagnostics, and provide roadside assistance such as tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockouts.

No prior towing experience is required; we provide paid training and emphasize helping members in need. We offer guaranteed hours (minimum 40 weekly), starting pay of $22.75 per hour plus monthly bonuses and productivity incentives, and a generous benefits

Responsibilities

• Operating tow trucks safely and efficiently.
• Performing simple vehicle diagnostics to figure out the issue.
• Providing essential roadside assistance, including tire changes, fuel delivery, and vehicle lock-outs.
• Building trust, problem-solving, and being a calming presence for our members on the scene.
• Clear and proficient verbal and written communication even under pressure.
• Common knowledge of vehicle components and the common reasons for vehicle failure.
• Demonstrates problem solving and listening skills to evaluate member safety as well as the ability to discern safety issues and respond appropriately.
• Ability to drive a manual/automatic shift vehicle.
