Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires and will assist in shop duties when calls are slow.

No prior experience required as training is provided. This role includes mandatory on-call shifts and premium pay for after-hours service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including; proper PPE and tire cages, and follow all safety policies.
