Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to serve as an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires, often roadside, with training provided for required skills.

When not on service calls, you may assist in mounting orders and shop upkeep. There is an on-call rotation with after-hours calls paid at double-time, and benefits include comprehensive medical and retirement offerings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including using proper PPE and following safety policies.
