Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, with opportunities to assist in shop duties when no service calls are pending. Training is provided, no prior experience required.

This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work 21+, and authorization to work in the U.S. with on-call rotations and premium after-hours pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience is not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE and safe work procedures.
• During slow periods, assist with mounting orders, shop cleanup, and general duties.
