• Valid Driver's License.
• A passing grade on the written portion of the CDL exam is required prior to hire; tanker endorsement and interstate status within 60 days after hire.
• Herbicide, Conservation and Pesticide Experience.
• Chainsaw and Other Small Outdoor Equipment.
• Groundskeeping/ Management Skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems, including right of ways, medians, and traffic control devices.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel and equipment, plow snow, and spread ice control materials.
• May assist with pesticide handling and habitat restoration efforts.
• Support for Monarch plantings and habitat work as needed.
• Emergency storm cleanup and overtime/night work may be required.
