Job summary

AECOM is seeking CHAMP Operators for District 4 in Southwest Georgia, covering regions including Valdosta, Douglas, Donalsonville, Moultrie, and Albany. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with full-time on-site duties and company-provided equipment.

Responsibilities include patrolling interstates, assisting stranded motorists, and reporting roadway issues. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and willingness to work variable hours

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of relevant work experience in lieu of education.
• Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security and motor vehicle background checks.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor a segment of interstate roadway in an assigned region, looking for stranded motorists and obstructions.
• Assist motorists with dead batteries, running out of gas, or flat tires.
• Provide battery boosts and automotive fuel as needed.
• Provide minor first aid until medical personnel arrive.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Municipal laws.
