Job summary

AECOM is seeking CHAMP Operators for District 2 in Georgia. The role involves patrolling interstate segments, assisting stranded motorists, and reporting maintenance needs. You will work with a company vehicle and radio, providing quick, courteous service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record in the last 5 years.
• Must pass criminal history/security and motor vehicle background checks.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor interstate roadway segments for stranded motorists and obstructions.
• Assist motorists with dead batteries, empty fuel, or flat tires.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Municipal laws.
• Report roadway deficiencies to Dispatch or District offices.
• Provide customer service with professionalism and timely responses.
• Offer fuel, battery boosts, and minor first aid when needed.
