Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to deliver safe, best-in-class roadside assistance. You will respond to member requests, assess safety, and perform minor mechanical tasks or tow vehicles when needed.

You’ll promote AAA products and ensure a positive member experience while adhering to safety and policy guidelines. The role includes diverse shifts with differential pay for overnight, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity of electrical troubleshooting required.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by a single state or jurisdiction.
• DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch or member requests with ETA to destination.
• Assess scene safety and ensure vehicle is in a safe location to service.
• Provide minor mechanical assistance and towing as needed, following policies.
• Promote AAA products and services and educate members on solutions.
• Operate MDC computer to update calls and collect payments accurately.
• Maintain professional image and safe, clean service vehicles.
