AAA Club Alliance in Perrysburg, OH is hiring for Roadside Assistance Truck Drivers, Tow Technicians and Mobile Battery Technicians to join our Fleet Team. Roles include providing battery jumps, fuel delivery, tire changes, towing, and battery tests for Members.

We offer a competitive hourly base pay, weekend shifts with a 10% differential, overtime during peak season, monthly bonuses, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, and free AAA membership. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of residence and compliance with licensing requirements.
• Ability to pass physical examination as required by DOT/Company policy.
• 3 years in an automotive/mechanical environment or 3 years in sales/customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire changes per guidelines.
• Provide tow and recovery services following procedures and safety rules.
• Sell, install, test and warranty battery services for members.
• Enter call information into in-truck technology, process payments and complete reports.

Ensure that the fleet vehicle and all equipment are adequately secured at all times, including when the vehicle is not in use.Support AAA as needed by participating in special events (parades, television, radio, and social media) promoting the brand.What are we looking for?Must be at least 21 years old.Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside; and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.Ability to pass a physical examination as required by Department of Transportation and/or Company policy.3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred.Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel and balance to change tires, inspect and to push vehicles; and use hand tools to provide service.Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening.Operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks (both manual and automatic transmissions) while primarily working from a service vehicle.Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, via email and using assigned technology such as GPS (Global Positioning Systems).Successfully complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire, and additional future department training as required.
