Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Springfield, VA seeks full-time Roadside Tow Truck Technicians to assist members in rain or shine. You will provide tow and recovery services, lock-out, jump starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery from a service vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Virginia Towing License or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license for your state of residence.
• Clear pre- and post-employment screening (criminal, drug, MV).
• Must pass required departmental training within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in automotive/mechanical field or sales/customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tow and recovery services per guidelines.
• Perform lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire changes.
• Communicate with members to ensure safety and updates.
• Enter call information into in-truck technology and complete reports.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections for safe operation.
• Ensure fleet vehicles and equipment are secured at all times.
• Support AAA events and promotional activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

The AAA Springfield, VA Fleet is seeking full time drivers to join our Roadside Assistance team! Ensure that the fleet vehicle and all equipment are adequately secured at all times, including when the vehicle is not in use.Support AAA as needed by participating in special events (parades, television, radio, and social media) promoting the brand.Other duties as assigned.Do you have what it takes?Must be at least 21 years old.Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.State of Virginia - must possess or be able to obtain a valid Virginia Towing License.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside.Must have ability to pass a physical examination on a bi-annual basis as required by Department of Transportation and/or Company policy.3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred.Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening.Must successfully complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire.Must attain and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.Ability to successfully complete any additional future department training as required.
