Shift: Wednesday - Saturday 7:30pm-6am

The Roadside Service Tech Flatbed provides safe, top-quality roadside solutions for AAA members, ensuring positive member experiences in a tow vehicle or flatbed. Responsibilities include responding to member requests within a specified ETA, ensuring safety and vehicle security, educating members, providing jump starts, tire replacements, minor mechanical assistance (if trained), and towing when necessary. Promoting AAA products and services and achieving performance standards are also part of the role.

Compensation: $24/hour base pay, full benefits, incentive pay, plus differentials for overnight, evening, and weekend hours, which can be combined.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch calls and locate members, providing reassurance and technical assistance as needed.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and towing safely, following all safety and operational guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment standards, ensure safety, and operate in accordance with traffic laws.
• Promote AAA services, educate members, and assist with their destinations.
• Work independently, adapt to various shifts, and ensure safety in vehicle operations.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Must be at least 21 years old, with post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and electrical troubleshooting.

Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license, DOT card, and pass motor vehicle record checks as per policy.
