Job summary

Canadian Pacific Kansas City is seeking a Trainmaster to direct yard and road operations, ensuring safe, efficient movements and adherence to LOSP/OP goals. You will coach Train & Engine staff and supervise activities across terminals, applying strong safety leadership daily.

Qualifications include 2+ years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and active certifications (CROR/GCOR) as applicable. Travel and shifting requirements may apply.

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Proven ability to lead safety culture and coach employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee train movements within yard and mainline and ensure safe, cost-efficient execution of LOSP and OP.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to improve yard and road fluidity.
• Lead safety compliance and provide corrective actions as needed.
• Handle investigations per company policies and bargaining agreement.
• Possess required certifications and licenses (CROR/GCOR) as applicable.
