Job summary

American Veterinary Group (AVG) seeks a Regional Veterinary Practice Manager (PM Pro) to travel extensively and provide leadership across AVG hospitals. You will step in when a clinic lacks a permanent practice manager, maintaining structure, driving change, and supporting hospital teams nationwide.

The PM Pro reports to the Regional Director of Operations and helps recruit and onboard new managers, with typical placements lasting 60–90 days while AVG scales clinics and hires permanent staff.

Qualifications

Prior veterinary experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required or directly related experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Demonstrated positive attitude with strong people skills and analytical abilities; willingness to support team efforts.

Responsibilities

Lead and support hospital practice teams when vacancies occur across AVG network.
Coordinate with Regional Director of Operations to recruit and onboard new practice managers.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including liaising with marketing, payroll, IT, recruiting, and finance.
