Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Texas. This role represents ACV in your region, builds a robust dealership network, and drives revenue with a consultative approach.

You will travel daily to dealers, service accounts, and use Salesforce to report activities and forecast opportunities. A minimum of five years in dealership sales experience and strong relationship-building skills are required. Compensation includes base pay plus incentive; target $48,000.

Qualifications

• 5 years of dealership experience in used or new car sectors.
• Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English.
• Experience selling to dealerships; auction knowledge preferred.
• Willing to travel daily to dealerships.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, to manage the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Actively support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and build out new business in your territory.
• Service accounts in person and via phone, seeking incremental growth opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce daily for reporting and tracking.
• Achieve or exceed established sales goals.
• Develop relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Be familiar with the competition and effectively sell against it.
• Assess customers’ wholesale inventory needs and offer solutions to increase their business with ACV Auctions.
• Educate customers on the breadth of our product and available services.
• Forecast and report incoming business activity monthly and annually.
• Ensure customers and prospects understand our products through a consultative selling approach.
• Respond quickly and accurately to problems, concerns, or needs to maintain current customer satisfaction.
• Proactively market the company to customers and convey the advantages of our product.
• Accountable for financial activity within your book of business.
• Adapt to changes in book of business, customer contacts, and internal structure or role changes.
• Manage day-to-day activities of Vehicle Condition Inspectors and KPIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
