Job summary

Alliance Material Handling is seeking a field-service forklift technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP) at customer sites across the US. You will travel daily and communicate findings and recommendations directly to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a forklift mechanic, diesel mechanic, or equipment technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Your own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP)
• Service industrial batteries and chargers
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Travel to customer sites throughout the day
• Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned
