Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. Site Survey Technician role involves frequent travel to client sites across the United States to conduct LiDAR surveys, capture 360-degree imagery, and photograph sites for architectural documentation. You will work independently, manage logistics, and ensure high-quality data collection and reporting.

The position requires delivering accurate point clouds and site reports while following safety protocols and coordinating with the Survey Manager to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OSHA 10 certificate required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Experience in construction, architecture, or engineering preferred.
• Experience with laser scanning or surveying equipment a plus.
• Comfortable working at height (ladders, rooftops) — prior roofing, tower, construction, or similar field experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel weekly to multiple client sites and manage logistics.
• Perform site surveys using LiDAR to capture point clouds.
• Capture 360-degree imagery and drone photos per checklists.
• Prepare Site Investigation Reports (BIR/ADA).
• QA point clouds before uploading to the system.
• Coordinate with site contacts and Survey Manager.
