Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking team members to transform LiDAR and imagery into precise mapping deliverables. You will support nationwide projects, gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and collaborating with experts dedicated to your growth.

Qualifications

• Eagerness to advance and grow in a geospatial career.
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability for contributing to the team.
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including MS Office.
• Microstation and TerraSolid experience is highly preferred.
• Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CAD, GIS, Orthophotography, LiDAR Point Clouds (highly preferred).
• LiDAR Classification (highly preferred).
• Mapping from LiDAR or Imagery (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products.
• Classification of LiDAR point clouds.
• Compilation of mapping features from LiDAR point clouds.
• Compilation of mapping features from orthophotography.
• Other duties as assigned
