Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose repairs at customer locations. You will work on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms and pumps, in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of diesel equipment experience and a high school diploma or GED, with a valid license. CDL may be required at certain locations. This full-time role offers extensive on-the-job training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training desired.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair at the customer's location.
• Work with a safety-focused team to minimize downtime.
• Operate and manage a variety of equipment across locations.
