Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs at customer sites, servicing a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators. You will be part of a safety-focused team and travel to locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license (CDL may be required in some locations).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training desired.
• 1–3 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs at the customer location.
• Work with a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
