Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our diverse fleet including aerial platforms, pumps and HVAC gear. You will work in dynamic locations, often remotely, under safety-focused guidelines and with a supportive team.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience and a high school diploma or GED; a valid driver's license is required and CDL may be needed in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training preferred.
• 3-5 years of diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred.
• CDL may be required in some locations; valid license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work with various makes/models, often in remote locations.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure minimal downtime.

Skills

Hydraulic systems knowledge

Electrical systems knowledge

Ability to adapt to changing prioritie

Bilingual (Spanish or other) if needed
