Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Passing grade on CDL written test prior to hire; must pass road test with tanker endorsement and Class B interstate within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems: fill joints, patch potholes, flag traffic, set up signs and cones, load and haul materials, clear debris.
• Repair highway facilities: signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, buildings, and equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel and materials, plow snow, spread ice control materials; mow right of way; operate machinery.
