Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Requires a valid driver's license.
• Must obtain Class A CDL within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of Highway Maintenance Workers on roads and rights of way.
• Perform concrete repairs including sidewalks, curbs, gutters, catch basins, and driveways.
• Assist in supervising drainage projects requiring a backhoe or excavator.
• Coordinate crew in snow and ice removal and weather-related emergencies.
• Set up traffic control per MUTCD and SCDOT standards to warn motorists.
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports, time sheets, and essential paperwork.
• Assist with other assigned duties as needed.
