Job summary

Barton County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Road Deputy. The starting pay is $23.00/hour for non-certified/no experience, with lateral and experienced applicants evaluated case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age at time of appointment.
• Valid Kansas Driver’s License with acceptable driving history.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass applicant testing, including: Background investigation, Psychological exam, Drug screening, Work-fit evaluation.
• No felony or domestic violence convictions.
• Must be of good moral character.
