Graham County Sheriff's Office is seeking applicants for a full-time Deputy Sheriff. The role involves uniformed patrols, enforcing laws, serving court documents for civil and criminal proceedings, and daily public assistance under the Sheriff’s direction.

Applicants must be at least 21, a U.S. citizen, and in good standing with KS CPOST if certified. Certification is preferred but not required. A background check, psychological evaluation, drug test, and physical exam are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen.
• Be in good standing with KS CPOST if currently certified in Kansas.
• Certification preferred, however, not necessary with the right candidate.
• No felony or disqualifying convictions.
• Pass a pre-employment background investigation and interview along with a psychological evaluation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment physical.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Perform uniformed patrol duties and enforce all federal, state and local laws.
• Serve court documents for civil and criminal proceedings.
• Aide the public daily and carry out other duties as assigned by the Sheriff.
