Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs and instructs crews on work sites and provides required procedures.
• Oversees short-term highway and bridge projects with safety compliance.
• Plans with supervisor and assigns resources to complete tasks.
• Requests utilities locates per state law when digging.
• Maintains and repairs tools and equipment; drives county vehicles as needed.
• Maintains safe work zones and assists in traffic control as required.
• Reports progress and safety concerns to the supervisor.
