Job summary

TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking an Intermediate Equipment Operator to support road maintenance and heavy construction projects. You will operate trucks and heavy machinery, perform basic repairs, and ensure safe operation on a variety of terrains.

Responsibilities include loading, hauling, grading roads, trenching for utilities, and training others in safe equipment use while adhering to project safety rules on outdoor sites in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Basic safety awareness and the ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Ability to understand, read, and follow written and oral instructions; communicate effectively with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate various vehicles and heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade material.
• Load gravel, dirt, and sand; smooth and grade roads; spread rock.
• Trench and construct ditches for pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Check fluid levels and lubrication; perform routine maintenance.
• Instruct and train employees in safe operation and job techniques.
• Inspect equipment and sites to identify defects and resolve issues.
