Job summary

Staker Parson Companies in Utah is seeking safety‑mocused road construction apprentices to learn under seasoned professionals. You will gain hands‑on experience in a variety of field tasks while supporting daily crew operations.

You'll work with a unified team, follow safety procedures, and develop skills in shoveling, cleaning, painting, and basic mechanical tasks. High school diploma or GED preferred; construction exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior construction experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and memos.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written or verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Shoveling and raking materials.
• Sweeping and general site cleanup.
• Steam cleaning.
• Painting.
• Tire work.
• Assisting mechanics with basic tasks.
• Handling materials and tools safely.
• Operating small equipment as trained.
