Job summary

Standard Construction Co., a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to perform heavy equipment operations for road, site and highway construction projects. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and adherence to company procedures while maintaining equipment and assisting with training where needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of loader operations experience, with willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as required, and a strong commitment

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Two to Five years experience in loader operations.
• Experience in construction field and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used in road, site or highway construction and paving.
• Report any problems to your manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Communicate with co-workers using signals while backing.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist Foreman with daily tasks and training of less experienced staff.
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with documentation.
