Job summary

Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas is seeking a Road Maintenance Worker to maintain all roads and bridges in the reservation and county roads using heavy equipment. You will follow safety standards and tribal policies while ensuring timely, quality work for the community.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least one year operating heavy-duty machinery. Native American preference applies in accordance with tribal policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy-duty machinery.

• Follow safety practices and tribal policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain roads and bridges in tribal reservations and county roads using heavy equipment.
• Repair signs, trim vegetation, and perform general labor as needed.
• Provide traffic control and ensure safety in work zones.
• Perform routine machinery maintenance and preventive care.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with supervisor and co-workers to complete tasks.
