Job summary

Doña Ana County is seeking workers for a variety of manual tasks involved in maintaining roads, bridges, and related infrastructure. The role includes assisting crews, digging and filling with hand tools, patching pavement, weed control, and trimming roadside vegetation.

Qualifications

• Minimium six months of full-time manual labor or construction experience.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record required.
• Background checks and pre-employment checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in construction and maintenance activities.
• Dig and fill holes with hand tools as needed.
• Patch roadway cuts and holes and perform weed control.
• Trim roadside trees and dispose of debris per policy.
• Maintain records of tasks completed and operate light equipment as needed.
