Job summary

Carbon County Road & Bridge Department in Montana is seeking a full-time Road Maintenance Worker, equipment operator, and truck driver at the Bridger Road Shop to maintain and repair roads and bridges.

Applicants must have road maintenance and construction experience, hold a Montana Class A CDL with Medical Examiner’s Certificate and a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform related physical tasks tied to culvert installation, bridge repair, and heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Must have road maintenance and construction experience or similar experience.
• Must have Montana Class A CDL with Medical Examiner’s Certificate and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform related physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, bending and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain trucks and heavy equipment (backhoe, motor grader, loader, scraper) for road construction and maintenance.
• Perform manual labor with hand tools and install culverts and support bridge repair tasks.
