Job summary

Jackson County Missouri in the Parks + Rec department is seeking a hands-on employee for maintenance and project-support roles. The position pays $22.06/hour and involves assisting supervisors, operating specialized equipment, and performing asset improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an industry related position or craft.
• Must have obtained a Class A Commercial driver's License with air brake endorsement within six months of hire, where applicable.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Foreman and/or Supervisors with project management to ensure timely completion.
• Operate specialized maintenance equipment and handheld tools and other power equipment.
• Perform asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor as necessary.
• Perform daily maintenance according to equipment operators' manual or SOP.
