Job Opening

Department: Public Works | Grade: 200 | Salary: $26.21/hour

Job Duties

Responsible for ensuring the successful operations and maintenance of specific division operations, making daily operational decisions. In the absence of the Supervisor, this position has immediate responsibility for the operation and maintenance of assigned projects and the necessary associates and equipment to complete the work. Responsible for the supervision and training of junior staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Five years of previous experience in an industry-related position or craft, including one to two years of supervisory experience.
• Must complete division-specific training as directed.
• Must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement within six months of hire.
• Requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement and HAZMAT, or ability to obtain/retain HAZMAT endorsement within six months of hire, where applicable.
• Must submit to–and pass–pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Additional qualifications dependent on department needs.
