Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. is hiring Inspectors for Construction Services in the Morgantown area to support WVDOH highway projects. You will perform inspection and testing across road, bridge, and municipal utility projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.

Travel within the greater Morgantown region is expected; stipends or company vehicle options may apply. The role emphasizes collaboration with the cross-functional team and adherence to safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience is a plus.
• New grads encouraged to apply; technical training acceptable.
• Familiarity with highway construction specs and field experience is a plus.
• Valid driver license and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce quality standards and specifications.
• Read drawings, specs, blueprints and work on diverse construction projects.
• Perform inspection and testing on roadway, bridge, and municipal projects.
• Prepare project records and reports in a timely manner.
• Notify contractor or project engineer with status updates or non-conforming work.
• Conduct quality control testing (concrete, soils, asphalt, aggregates, reinforcing steel).
• Assist Project Engineer/Manager as needed.
