Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Technicians for Construction Inspection Services in WV for WVDOT and related projects. This role spans field and laboratory work across roadway, bridge, water, and municipal infrastructure on diverse sites in the Charleston region.

You'll support testing, inspection, and quality control, learning industry best practices while collaborating with engineers and agencies. Travel within west-central WV is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with earthwork/structure inspection and testing preferred.
• Knowledge of highway construction specifications is a plus.
• Experience with laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection for roadway/bridge projects.
• Conduct field and laboratory testing on soils, concrete, asphalt.
• Inspect and report on quality control, and document observations.
• Assist Engineers in field investigations and with data collection.
• Prepare project records and communicate findings to stakeholders.
