Job summary

HCF is seeking a Registered Nurse to administer resident care under supervision, ensuring the highest level of care. You will administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and maintain thorough documentation of each patient’s care in a supportive, family-centered environment.

The role requires active RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a commitment to compassionate, team-based care. CPR is recommended; experience in a similar setting is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification recommended.
• Experience in similar roles preferred.
• Compassionate, team oriented, social, trustworthy and service minded.

Responsibilities

• Administers resident care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and/or a physician.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Follow Hospital/Facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain and follow resident care plans.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Observe and report any abnormal findings or changes in condition.
• Adhere to infection control and safety practices.

A Registered Nurse administers resident care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and/or a physician to maintain the highest level of resident care.

Responsibilities

• Must function within scope of practice according to the State Board of Nursing.
• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Must follow HCF Policy and Procedures.
• Must meet job-related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual for Registered Nurse (RN).
• Supervises, evaluates and may suspend personnel according to HCF policy.
• Accurately complete documentation of care given.
• Refers to, assists in developing, and follows resident's care plan.
• Observes, assesses and reports any abnormal findings, such as injuries, incidents, skin issues, complaints, suspected abuse/neglect/misappropriation, and any unsafe conditions as well as any significant change in condition.
• Follows appropriate Infection Control and Safety Practices.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification recommended.
