Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Biogas Technician to join our RNG operations team in Kansas. You will operate and maintain RNG facilities, perform basic diagnostics, and support safety, quality, and environmental goals in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities include field and control room monitoring, executing maintenance per safety rules, keeping accurate daily reports, and communicating issues for repair of electrical and control systems. Some on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret English-language documents.
• Strong written and oral communication with customers and visitors.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR.
• Preferred: Associate degree or technical diploma; Biology or Chemistry experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a chemical or petrochemical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor RNG facilities from field and control room; identify issues and adjust operations.
• Support QSH&E goals and continuous improvement plans.
• Perform work orders and ensure maintenance per safety rules.
• Maintain daily reports and logs.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on water and effluent systems, air systems, heat exchangers, and pumps.
• Maintain compressors, motors, pumps, and valves.
• Diagnose and communicate issues for repair of electrical power and control systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing devices.
• Willing to work a rotating on-call schedule and respond to callouts.
• Other duties as assigned.
