Job summary

Amp Americas LLC is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure safe operation of RNG assets, maximize uptime, and optimize reliability across our facilities. The role involves hands-on site support, troubleshooting throughput issues, commissioning new plants, and implementing cross-functional process improvements with strong vendor management.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical/chemical/environmental engineering background, 3–10 years in field engineering, and experience with SCADA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental
• 3-10 years of field engineering experience in process industries or related sectors
• Demonstrated succinct, clear communication and KPI reporting
• Passion for renewable energy and problem solving
• Experience with SCADA systems and data historians
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of process improvement projects for RNG facilities
• Scope equipment requirements and compare vendor quotations
• Ensure quality of procured equipment incl. FAT testing
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Collaborate across controls upgrades and operational changes
• Commission process changes and improve plant performance
• Create action plans based on unit performance and targets
• Develop SOPs and training materials with plant managers
• Train operators on root cause analysis and operation best practices
• Support regulatory tracking of emissions and CI score
