Job summary

Vitol Biomethane, LLC invites a Senior RNG Technician to support our Landfill Gas to Energy projects across the United States. The role focuses on safe, compliant operation and maintenance of RNG sites, including GCCS, wellfields, processing plants, and pipelines.

You will monitor equipment, perform field inspections, optimize methane recovery, and ensure regulatory adherence while coordinating with plant managers and contractors on 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in industrial operations or gas processing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wellfield, GCCS, plant, and pipeline equipment.
• Perform routine landfill gas monitoring and system balancing.
• Maximize methane recovery while maintaining safety and compliance.
• Document field adjustments and maintenance per SOPs.
• Assist contractors during maintenance and construction.
