Job summary

Terreva Renewables in Atlanta, GA seeks a Project Engineer to support RNG project development, engineering, construction, and commissioning. This role collaborates with internal teams, contractors, and host facilities to ensure design integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/chemical/electrical/environmental engineering background with 2–5 years in related roles and familiarity with GCCS, gas upgrading, and metering systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, or related).
• 2-5 years in project/ process engineering or construction support.
• Experience in RNG, biogas, landfill gas, or energy infra preferred.
• EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
• OSHA safety training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design support across RNG lifecycle (development to operations).
• Coordinate with internal teams and hosts; review PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets.
• Assist with technology evaluations for upgrading and metering systems.
• Review submittals for compliance with standards.
• Support construction via RFIs, field coordination, site visits, issue resolution.
• Assist commissioning, startup, testing, and handover to ops.
