Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Plant Operator to support a renewable natural gas upgrading facility in Skull Valley, Utah. You will operate and maintain equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, monitor controls, and perform preventative maintenance with a hands-on, small team.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of hands-on mechanical experience, can handle on-call rotations every third week, and overtime.

Competenze

• 1+ year of hands-on mechanical experience with equipment such as diesel engines, generators, vehicles, industrial machinery, or similar systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability and willingness to learn electrical and plant operations.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment and remain composed while responding to plant alarms, repairs, and operational issues.
• Must live within approximately one hour of the Skull Valley, Utah facility to meet on-call response requirements.
• Willingness to work approximately 10 hours of overtime per week, with additional overtime as operational needs require.
• Ability to participate in an every-third-week on-call rotation and report to the facility within one hour when called.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience, including multimeters, electrical diagrams, and 480V systems, is preferred.
• Experience with SCADA, PLC, or HMI systems is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain RNG plant equipment for safe, reliable performance.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Monitor plant controls, respond to alarms, adjust operating parameters, and assist with startup/shutdown procedures.
• Record operating data and maintain logs on operations, maintenance, performance, and downtime.
• Perform landfill well-field tuning and adjust to improve gas quantity and quality.
• Maintain tools, parts, fluids, and supplies; coordinate with utility and landfill personnel.
• Perform general facility upkeep, security inspections, preventative maintenance, and other duties as needed.
