Job summary

NAES is seeking an O&M Technician to support the Athena RNG site. The role includes operations, electrical maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, and process monitoring to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant operations.

The position involves reviewing data, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance with the goal of reliable energy production and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and technical training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of the anaerobic digestion process is desirable; willingness to learn procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations, maintenance and activities at the facility.
• Monitor equipment, gauges and charts in the digester, electrical generation, and waste treatment processes.
• Record and analyze data to ensure plant runs as specified.
• Troubleshoot failures to determine root cause and maintain/repair equipment.
• Maintain and repair instrumentation and control equipment up to 480 volts.
• Conduct lab analysis for process control and collect samples for testing.
