Job summary

NAES seeks an O&M Technician at the Athena RNG site to perform safe, efficient operations and electrical maintenance across the facility, interfacing with SCADA, running tests, inspection, repair and installation of electrical and control equipment up to 480 volts.

You will support anaerobic digestion processes, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, maintain instrumentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Regular hours with potential extended shifts and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; technical training is a plus
• Basic understanding of anaerobic digestion and process monitoring desired
• Experience with voltages up to 480 volts is highly desirable
• Experience in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or gas processing is a plus
• Excellent communication and ability to read blueprints and manuals

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations, maintenance and facility activities
• Monitor digestion process equipment, gauges and charts in the digester
• Record and analyze data to ensure plant runs within specifications
• Troubleshoot failures to identify root causes and perform repairs
• Maintain instrumentation, control equipment and electrical systems up to 480V
• Collect samples, perform lab analyses for process control
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance across operations
