Job summary

NAES is seeking an O&M Technician to support SunRyze RNG site operations and electrical maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient plant performance. You will interface with SCADA, run tests, inspect and repair electrical systems, and participate in ongoing preventive maintenance and calibration tasks.

The role requires reading blueprints, handling voltages up to 480V, and collaborating with the operations team to monitor digestion processes, instrumentation, and process controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in wastewater operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of wastewater operations and RNG processes desirable.
• Experience with voltages up to 480 volts highly desirable.
• Experience in RNG or gas processing is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations, maintenance and overall activities at the facility.
• Monitor anaerobic digestion, digester gauges and charts; manage electrical generation and waste treatment processes.
• Record and analyze data to ensure plant operates as specified.
• Troubleshoot failures and determine root causes; repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Maintain instrumentation and control equipment including recorders and flowmeters.
• Collect samples for testing and lab analysis for process control.
• Ensure plant operates within required standards.
• Monitor electrical systems and equipment performance at the treatment plant.
• Maintain a clean and presentable plant environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and emergency backup systems.
• Maintain equipment files, logs and drawings; calibrate instruments as scheduled.
• Inspect and service motors, transformers, switches and wiring up to 480V; work with DCS/PLC and turbine control equipment.
• Support NAES Safety and Regulatory Compliance programs.
