Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to support perioperative services across the OR and related areas. The role requires RNFA credentials and experience, functioning as an RN first assistant and, when appropriate, an RN circulator to ensure safe, patient-centered care throughout operative procedures.

Requirements include Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL) and credentials such as CNOR and CRNFA, along with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, including didactic and clinical components.
• RN licensure in Georgia (or NLC/eNCL Multistate License) and relevant certifications (CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas as an RN first assistant.
• Serve as RN circulator when appropriate during operative procedures and the perioperative continuum.
